Ruta de Las Flores tour includes, the colonial towns of Juayua, Apaneca and Ataco.

In Juayua we visit the waterfalls of “Chorros de La Calera” then we depart to Apaneca to walk aorund the central park and the local market and we’ll be visiting the Historical church “Santa Lucia”

After a please time in Apaneca we head to Ataco.

Ataco is at a high elevation. The area enjoys a colder climate with dense vegetation; this land is ideal for growing some of the best coffees in El Salvador.

Pipil Indians founded Ataco in the Apaneca mountain range during Pre-Columbian times. The name Ataco in the old Nahuatl language translates to “Place of Elevated Springs:”

For this tour we recoomend you to bring:
  • Sneakers for the hike to Chorros de La Calera
  • A swim suit to swim in the pools in Chorros de La Calera in Juayua
  • Extra clothes/light long sleeve shirt for the night in Ataco
